Dear World

Please Kill Me,

Greetings and happy Hump-Day (that’s Wednesday for the disconnected nymphomaniacs of the bunch) – how are things? Should the mountains have been properly traversed – than you’ve broken the curse, and the dark lords of Hades have been silenced (also, I’ve been getting REALLY into Greek mythology) – despite my sociopathic inner voice- I’m glad to host you.

Diet (otherwise known as- that New Year’s resolution that you’ve since forgotten about).

I’d like to take a moment to address the elephant in the room.

*looks down at stomach*

*weeps uncontrollably*

Though this isn’t a diet site (and I promise that it never will be) I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the importance of a healthy diet (that was a polite way of saying “PUT THE COOKIES DOWN!). As creatives we tend to spend a hell of a lot of time in the sedentary position (#GoogleIt) – that being so, it’s important that we take a moment every now and again to pay some much needed attention to our physical health.

No, I’m not saying that you have to go all insane and be one of those A-holes on the beach that brag about their [Insert Temporary Physical Aspect Here] – what I’m referring to, is simply the obvious self maintenance that will keep you around longer, and thus expand the vast potential of your artistic career (that was -ironically- a mouthful). For that reason, let’s put down the “ideal physique” thought for a moment, and focus on what a halfway healthy diet will provide you.

Now, obviously – I’m no professional in this matter, (…yet #Hopeful #NotReally )- and for that reason I will refer you to some interesting and helpful articles that I came across (while shoveling spoonfuls of ice cream into my chunky writer cheeks).

For those of you too lazy to read blue font – these articles focus on the benefits that healthy food (and diet in general) have for your mental strength (inputting and outputting?). If these don’t suit you (for whatever reason) – feel free to do some digital digging of your own (as if they need your permission.. I know, I know #Don’tTellMeWhatToDo….  For the nutrition weary -never fear- I’m just laying down some HOT FIRE … or suggestions… whatever).

No gym membership required, just some healthy ideas from a guy who recently bought a giant KitKat bar, and now feels oddly compelled to make some amends to the other side.

Alright boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, (Guns and Roses?) – that’s all the news from the realms of a writer’s ethos for this moment of infinity (WOW….he’s tired)- I’ll be back tomorrow for more spaces between letters.

Go Conquer Your Wednesday,

-Antwan Crump.
