I Can Build A Mountain
I Can Build A Mountain.
I can build it – in blood, sweat, or tears. What do you prefer?
I can build it – in brass, metal, or copper. What do you prefer!
I can build it – On the hopes and dreams of lesser beings, or whatever slang that you’ve been taught.
I can build it – on pain, gain, or world restraint – through the suffering and taunts.
I Can Build A Mountain.
I can build it – On the lake, they spilled the Boston tea – and the party that named spawned.
I can build it – On the hate that plagues the Middle East – if we’re honest it’s the world that’s wrong.
I can build it – on the chains that we won’t leave alone – it’s the memory that we haunt.
I can build it – On the white regret, that’s so upset – they said “Fuck it”, and voted Trump.
I Can Build A Mountain.
I can build it – on the strays, the tra’s, the gay’s – the praised? All too human – is that to me.
I can build it – on love – without hate- why are we so stuck? It’s all humid these days to me.
Shouldn’t we build it on trust? Where the happily lives – despite what media see?
I Can Build A Mountain.
I Couldn’t Build a Mountain, Without You – Could You Build One Without Me?
I Can Build A Mountain.
I can build it – in blood, sweat, or tears. What do you prefer?
I can build it – in brass, metal, or copper. What do you prefer!
