Novelty

Dear World

Please Kill Me,

Greetings, my soon to be spoiled rotten, flock of admirers, and nay-sayers. I should probably preface the following with an apology -for not being as Blog-consistent as you may have grown accustomed to. But as I’ve been hinting at for a while now (and as you’ve seen by my last post) I’ve been putting the finishing touches on my novel “Becoming Utopia”.

Yea I know. I did the whole editing thing. The re-reading thing. The beta-reader thing. Yea all the parts that literally add up to more work than actually writing the first draft, who knew? (we all did, shut up). So yea, just trying to make sure that it’s the best it can be (at this point obsessing, but I want it to be perfect for you guys). With that being said, never fear. I’ve given myself a deadline to release it, just to prevent dwelling in the gates of editorial hell.

The last version of the book (that I’ve allowed a special few to read) received a ton of positive, and more importantly, some much needed -constructive criticism. So once again NEVER FEAR, I’m just making sure the t’s are crossed and the i’s are dotted. All in all, you can expect it to be on Kindle before weeks end.

I have been fiddling with a thought though. Because today is my Birthday (oh yea by the way it’s my birthday) and I’m 26 so, kind of over the getting gifts thing. If enough of you are interested I’ll post the first chapter on here for free. That way, (hopefully if you like it) when it’s out , you’re not walking in blind, (and as an added bonus for me if you REALLY like it, you’ll tell everyone in your yoga and diuretic classes to check it out) so there’s that.

Any wobbles, I’ve got to get back to my Hemingway-esque task of brooding and typing, drinking, brooding, and typing. Hope you all have been kicking this weeks teeth in, and thank you in advance for checking out Becoming Utopia.

Blowin’ out the candles,

-Antwan Crump.
